March Reflection

March was a month that was good. I can’t really complain as I do some reflection. It wasn’t one that completely stands out, but there sure were some good days!

Ryley finished up her tutoring and I can completely say with confidence that this program put on by some of the teachers was a success for my child. She gained confidence and you can tell that in her work. She actually shares her papers with us and wants to do her work!

Ryley also turned 7. My middle child is 7. Oh this makes my heart hurt for sure.

The next week my in-laws came to visit which always is a good time. We experienced a place to eat called the “Waffle King” and of course some of our favorites like The Fort Mitchell Grill. You can never go wrong with a burger from there.

Then the night I had been waiting for – the 4th RTB Ball. I love getting dressed up and being taken out. I even got to dance and I did get to meet new people and enjoy myself. I loved it. We were one of the last ones to leave and we got home before midnight. I can’t wait till next year all ready! (Not really any pictures since I didn’t take my phone so I could really enjoy myself)

The next week I took my youngest and her friend to a movie at the National Infantry Museum. We watched Cinderella on a HUGE screen for free. I like free!

Easter was filled with fun with my sister, niece, and brother-in-law. I love family visits and they always seen to go too fast. We did get to watch my Abby get an award for making the A Honor Roll both the 2nd and 3rd Nine Weeks of School. I am pretty proud to say the least!

The weekend also had Fred & Lester’s Restaurant, grilling out back, and a crab boil. Mmmmmm

Easter dinner!

Soccer started yesterday and should provide some excitement to say the least. I just hope that Ryley scores more than 1 goal to top last year, and Abby remembers that she is not the only kid playing on the team 😉

How was your march?

List 3.20.16

My in-laws just left and I hate that it will be a while until I see them again.

Our internet is awful here. Just say “no” to satellite internet.

My email has so much stinking junk mail. I think I click “unsubscribe” more often than anything.

I had a really great weekend around the house.

Easter is next weekend – crap!

I get to see my niece next weekend and I am super excited.

There are times I feel like I have no clue what I did today, but I know I did something. I have to have done something, right?

My blogging calendar for next month is all done. Who wants to actually right all the content now?

I like taking pictures. I think I need to do more of that.

I want to find a few more virtual runs to complete.

I have all but 1 goal written for next month. I have a weird need to have 5 goals. No more, no less.

I think list posts are my favorite kinds to write.

The following week my kids will be on spring break and I think we are all ready to be not going to school, but doing something fun.

I think that after a year I am starting to figure out this work from home/mom from home thing. I *think*.

List #1

List #1 in the new place. I know you have been waiting for one of my lists – it has been a while!

I made a video! Have you check it out yet?

Finally feeling somewhat settled. Not completely, but we are getting there!

I got the internet somewhat figured out. Whatever happened to unlimited?

No schedule set in stone for me. Still need to figure out how to get house chores, workouts, and Bailey taken care of 100% while I get all my work done as well. My work gets done – I feel like the others are neglected and I don’t like that feeling.

I am thinking of setting up a bi-weekly coffee date/play date with other military families around me – we will see how it goes!

I hope Nick gets his schedule from work soon, so I can maybe plan for taking a couple classes at the gym on base.

Having more time outside is a fantastic feeling. I really enjoyed playing outside with Bailey yesterday and seeing the girls off the bus. It allowed everyone to play and get energy out before school work and dinner commenced.

I am enjoying being home and do feel that I am productive – it is that I get easily distracted!

I think I need to put some things in writing so that I can see what I need to do.

I think Laundry is calling my name!

What are some things you do to stay on track, organized, and get it almost all done?
