The Weekly Chase #3

The Weekly Chase BadgeI am happy to report last week is done – not one of my best weeks – but I WILL NOT let it get me down – that is how I am facing this year – not letting the silly things get me down!

LAST WEEK’S RECAP:

#1 – Make time each night to read a book just for me. It was not every day – but I am making progress in these books and am really enjoying them!

#2 – Get a haircut – finally! This did not happen with the black light inspection I had to do Saturday and the awful roads!

#3 – Get 4 workouts in. Yeah – you try finding time for yourself while you are single parenting two kids that miss their daddy and just want mommy.

#4 – Pack my lunch everyday. I sucked at this!

#5 – 4 Minute Meditations with Bex on YouTube. DONE!

#6 – Drink more water. DONE I have done better this week than last but still need improvement!

#7 – School starts – complete my homework by Friday. Funny story – I thought my class was 7:30 to 9:20….nope – it was 5:30 to 7:20 so that put me having to watch and listen to my class in a recording. For some reason this REALLY threw me. I am finishing it up this week and will move forward next week!

#8 – Positive talk myself to death. I am doing good. I am not going to make it a goal next week to see if I can make it without putting down on paper as a goal!

#9 – Send out 3 handwritten notes this week. Nope.

#10 – Complete my Power Hours as planned. I did good except the when the weekend got closer – with falling on ice this week I took some much needed time for myself to heal.

**Push Goal for this week** If any of you are aware of BeachBody and Chalene Johnson you know what a Push Goal is. I want to incorporate this into my Weekly Challenge so that I can really earn what I want this year. My Push goal this week is to get a new coach on my BeachBody team. I know I can do it. I had one who wanted to but then backed down as she wants time to think – totally understand. I know her and love her! My husband became next on my radar. I got his orders to put it on paper – and then I fell…yeah – it sucked and really ruined the later part of my week!

THIS WEEK:

Don’t forget that while making your goals this month 2-3 are supposed to be all about you AND a priority!

#1 – Finish my blog design ideas and questionnaire. I paid my down payment and am ready to rock and roll! She designed one of my most favorite blogs and I can’t wait for her to do mine! (Challenge Goal)

#2 – Approach 3 companies for product reviews and/or ambassadorship. (Challenge Goal)

#3 – Get 4 workouts in – no more excuses.

#4 – Pack my lunch everyday (I actually meal prepped all my lunches yesterday so now I just need to take them each day!)

#5 – 4 minute meditations everyday with BexLife.

#6 – Drink more water!

#7 – Complete Homework by Friday.

#8 – Complete my power hours as planned – my businesses are only as good as I let them be!

#9 – Send out 3 handwritten notes (Challenge Goal)

#10 – More time with God each day & reading my Bible. This technically should be #1 but I am not listing these in any particular order!

So – time to link up ladies and share some love! The Weekly Chase is open for anyone and everyone to join in!

The Weekly Chase #16

How fun is it to always list goals? I love it and want to invite you to join us in the New Year with the Weekly Chase and to join in our Facebook Group for support and fun!  My friend Mindy and I are going to be hosting in the new year as our dear friend Melissa has something called life getting in the way – but we are so glad that she is going to still stick around for the fun!

So how does this work? In the coming new year (or before) you can grab a Weekly Chase button (Mindy is currently working on new ones as well) and starting listing them! I list a goal sheet for the month (not this month though!), then break it into weekly challenges. Every Monday I list them a report back on the previous week’s outcomes – so fun!

This year we are also going to incorporate some challenges and fun and to keep this going and fun – Mindy and I will be alternating months of hosting the fun!

So here are this weeks goals which start today – since yesterday was a Blogging Day of Silence and I spent time with my family!

This Short Week’s Goals:

#1 – Read to the girls every night this week

#2 – Finish My Christmas Shopping

#3 – Get all presents wrapped by Friday

#4 – Finish Review of Tara Stiles yoga DVD’s so that I can actually finish up the blog post

#5 – Type of Review of the Garlic Chop, Wolrd Vision, and a couple books I was sent – have these blog posts ready for publication next week so I can rest during the holidays!

#6 – Get transcript for MBA Program (I have changed my mind yet again)

#7 – Get Yoga Challenge Group information finalized and ready for sending on the 26th

#8 – Figure out dinner for Christmas Day

#9 – Get a game plan going for next year and making it work for me

#10 – Start purging the girls toys to make room for new :)

So there you have it – this week is a little packed so that I can relax for next week as well!
