I am loving Marvelous in My Monday as it helps me to reflect on the weekend and smile!
Friday at work was interesting as the lady that we hired to be my replacement and stay on after I got back. Crap. I only have 4 more weeks.
I had my 36 weeks appointment and everything seems to be just fine!
We then had our dear friends – The Keene’s come over for dinner and an awesome game of Phase 10 where my 5 year old joined us and almost won!
Saturday I slept in and it was great as I have just felt more and more sore each and every day.
I went and picked up my new to me jogging stroller:
I also took the kids to a birthday party then we came home and relaxed as a family - which I just love to do!
Saturday night I went up to bed to lay down and my 5 year old followed me and we had “girl talk” and it was awesome. We talked about her doing soccer, softball and the medal she got two years ago in t-ball. We talked about Bailey kicking mommy and how it hurts. Lastly before we fell asleep we talked about how she would have to stay with friends while daddy, Bailey and I were in the hospital and I needed her to watch after her sister. It made my heart smile and a tear to my eye to have this time with her. She is a good kid and I love these special moments I can have with her.
Sunday was Sunday School and Church which always puts a smile on my face.
We learned that one of our Sunday School members has some hope:
Our friend, Mike Kelly, has Stage 4 Colon Cancer and the doctors here in Alaska have no further treatment available for him. Mike’s family and friends need to raise $30,000 to send Mike to MD Anderson in Houston to receive a life-saving cancer treatment. Please go to the following website and donate to a fundraiser set up to help Mike get the funds he needs for his treatment. Then please share this on your Facebook page. Every little bit helps! Please help Mike and his family out today!! Pray for Mike and his family. God Bless!

I pray that he will get the funds he needs. As soon as I can tell what God wants me and provides for me to give – I will do it. I encourage you to do the same!
Our church does a pretty big pageant every year and we got to see a part of it. It was so realistic I was worried about my 5 year old seeing it. I can tell you that I truly loved it and my husband was impressed with how real it was. I encourage you to check out today’s service (and any other service) HERE
We then went to eat at Red Robin and hung out all afternoon again.
Between laundry, blog prepping, and other random things the day flew by.
I think that having the family time more and more makes me smile. It reminds me to slow down on the other things and really embrace the things that matter.
This helps me start my Monday absolutely relaxed and ready to start the week!
